Los españoles siguen brillando en el 48ºTrofeo Princesa Sofia

From 24th March to 1st April the bay of Palma host the 48th edition of the Trofeo Princesa Sofia IBEROSTAR, one of the most important Olympic Classes regatta in the world. Around a 800 sailors from 45 nations will meet in Mallorca to start the Olympic path towards Tokyo 2020, in one of the most international sports event and with a higher participation in Spain. Dos oros, dos platas y un bronce es el balance provisional para el equipo español de vela en el 48 Trofeo Princesa Sofía IBEROSTAR, que hoy ha celebrado su segunda jornada de competición para vela olímpica y que se desarrolla hasta el sábado en aguas de la bahía de Palma.

Marina Alabau (RS:X F), Diego Botín y Iago López Marra (49er), Joel Rodríguez (Laser), Iván Pastor (RS:X M) y Silvia Mas y Patricia Cantero (470 F) son las tripulaciones nacionales mejor posicionadas, aunque también Bárbara Cornudella y Sara López (470 F), Fernando Echávarri y Tara Pachecho (Nacra 17), Jordi Xammar y Nico Rodríguez (470 M) y Federico y Arturo Alonso (49er) acechan el podio en sus respectivas clases.
